A Trip to Tidung Island

On June 30th and July 1st, Linda (my best friend) and I went to Tidung Island. We joined the trip with Twister Travel. it’s the cheapest travel we’ve surveyed before. Hehee… only Rp.300.000 we could go to Tidung Island with all facilities such as ticket of ships, home stay 2days 1night, tour guide, bicycling, snorkeling, banana boat, BBQ, welcome drink, and travelling to Small Tidung Island and Payung Island.
Before I tell the story, let’s know all about Tidung island from experiencingtidung.com.

Our Love in June

June is my favorite month. Do you know? June 19th is my boyfriend birthday and also our love day. It’s been 3 years I have relationship with him. It’s not a short time for us to carry out this relationship. We should face any kind of problems that’s so complicated. Anyway, I won’t tell those problems. I just wanna share about the event on June 19th, 2012.

First Dance Performance with Ekayana Dance Studio

It was the story on January 8th,2012. In the morning, Linda and I went to Pasar Seni, Ancol. We were going to perform Pa’gellu Dance on the stage of Dance Festival held by Ekayana Dance Studio. We are the students of Ekayana Dance Studio. The instructors asked us to join at Dance Festival whereas we recently joined at that course. We were so glad. We practiced less than a month to perform Pa’gellu dance. So we practiced hard every Tuesday and Friday evening until the day of performance. Pa’gellu dance is one of traditional dances from Toraja, South Sulawesi. Pa’gellu dance is usually performed by women at wedding ceremony or harvest time. Pa’gellu dance is reflecting a grateful and happiness of the successful efforts on farms there.

The costume was so beautiful. I was proud wearing it. I felt like a Toraja princess… here I am…
